September 14, 2010 – Valador Awarded USDA FSIS Web Services Task Order

Herndon, VA – September 14, 2010 — Valador was awarded a Task Order from the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) to define, gather, develop, and analyze requirements the FSIS’s web architecture, including their public facing website. Valador will support the enhancement and evolution of the Web infrastructure at FSIS to better meet the needs of its users, including the public, industry, FSIS employees, and other government agencies. The Web Services Modernization effort will enable FSIS to better serve the various end users by utilizing enhanced Web Content Management, online collaboration, online services, Web 2.0, and social media. This Task Order is critical to the FSIS because it formulates the basis for the strategy and architecture for FSIS’s next generation of web-based communication platform.
