Picture of NASA Space Flight Awareness Program Recognizes Valador Inc.’s Employee Victoria JohnsonValador Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in Herndon, VA, is proud to announce that that Victoria Johnson of Leesburg, Virginia, was recognized on January 20, 2016, by the National Aeronautics Space Administration, (NASA) Space Flight Awareness Program for her outstanding support of the Mission Support Directorate, for her exemplary contributions to the Business Service Assessment (BSA) initiatives.

William Hill, NASA Deputy Associate Administrator for Exploration Systems Development, and NASA astronaut Reid Weisman presented Mrs. Johnson’s award during a ceremony at Space Center Houston, the official visitor center for NASA’s Johnson Space Center.

In recognition of her outstanding programmatic contributions, and Mrs. Johnson’s 10 years of service at Valador supporting NASA, Valador Inc. flew Mrs. Johnson and her husband to Johnson Spaceflight Center to participate in the award ceremony and activities in conjunction with the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) Grand Opening at Independence Plaza at Space Center Houston. The exhibit is the world’s only shuttle mounted on a shuttle carrier aircraft and the only one allowing the public to enter both vehicles.

NASA’s Space Flight Awareness Program recognizes outstanding job performance and contributions by civil service and contractor employees throughout the year and focuses on excellence in quality and safety in support of human spaceflight.  The Honoree Award is one of the highest honors presented to employees for their dedication to quality work and flight safety.
